Ordered that the Council stand now adjorned.

On this 29th day of May 1884 the Common Council of the
City of Seattle meets in it's Council Chamber pursuant to adjourn-
ment as a Board of Equalization.
Present: Councilmen Thos Clancy, B.F. Day, Chas McDonald,
B.L. Northrup, Otto Rauke & F.W. Wusthoff.
[Because of?] the absence of his Honor the Mayor, Councilman Chas McDonald is appointed
President of the Council to serve during the meeting.
And now the Council proceeds to the examination and equal-
ization of the Assessment Roll for 1884,
Ordered that the following changes be made in the assessment Roll
Kenny's assessment, towit:

On Lot 5B 30 Terry's raised to $19.00
8B 30 (Terry's raised to) $15.00
[Easlim?] Addition reduced to $100.00 per lot
Lot 1 B 37 Maynards to [$400.00?]
2 B37 to $350.00

P.D. Hamlin
On Blk 36 Maynards $4000
2nd Blk 37 to $500
3 & 4 Blk 38 to $1000

James Campbell
on Blk 23 [Naigles?] reduced to $16.00

James Dougan
In Northern Addition except Blk 29 reduced to $40 [portion?]
Ordered that Blk 2 & 3 [Nob Hill?] addition be reduced to
$100 per lot

P.R.L.G. Pratt on 12 acres reduced to [$500?] per acre

And now come further complaints being [made?] against
said assesment roll [and said roll?] being found to be
[correct?] it is Ordered that the said assessment Roll be
