This bag holds money, but that isn't all, Many good wishes are tucked inside Loving hands send it Good wishes attend it, Better than money- sweeter than honey Are the kind, loving wishes tucked inside.

Your loving relatives and friends, A merry-hearted throng, In honor of their hosts tonight Would raise a joyful song, To husband true and noble wife, To son and daughters four We wish long lives of usefulness And blessings more and more.

Hurrah! Hurrah! Hurrah for Cloverly! May health and wealth and happiness Its future portion be!

Jingle, jangle! Jingle, jangle! Here's a silver shower To Father and Mother, To Sisters and Brother We hand to you on silver plate Our greeting many and up to date This happy hour Jingle, jangle! Jingle, jangle! Wield the magic wand Let's go choose a Morris chair Or some tables round and square Perhaps some books and book-shelves new A lamp, or couch and pictures too, And rugs "to beat the band!" Jingle, jangle! Jingle, jangle! Just hear the merry sound! For these daughters Who'll soon be seeking other quarters I'll be bound! Jingle, jangle! Jingle, jangle! Lift this bag of chink! Scoop up some for Mother dear, Grab a lot for Father here. But, alas, and alack! Don't leave out Jack, Who'll need the "sand" to "clear the track," Now don't you think?
