place, and called at Dr. Palmers: Lucy and Emily
spent the day at Uncle E. Thomas's

23^d 4^th day
Clear and cool: Henrietta Helen and Frank called
on this way to meeting, Helen staid 'till after supper:
xousin Samuel and Jane and Aunt Polly here to
supper also Louisa and Mary Thomas. Joe a Ingleside
after supper.

24^th 5^th day
Clear day: Lucy at the meeting house attending to having it
cleaned: Rachel Bellows here cleaning Lucy's room, my
room and the bath room: father at Ingleside all
morning, brought Frank Snowden home with him
to dinner and took hime to Avondale in the afternoon
to stay all night

25^th 6^th day
Clear and warm: father came home from Avondale
to dinner: Lucy at the meeting house again in the
morning, she and Emily went to Fulford in the
afternoon, Emily went home with Hattie Moore from
there, James and Margaret brought Lucy home after tea:
