to Frederick County. Rachel Bellows here cleaning
the dining room and spare room. Lucy Snowden
spent the afternoon here.

26^th 7^th day
Cloudy all day with showers: Fred and Lucy started
at 6 oclock: Joe and Charlie Stabler went to Baltimore,
started about 6 oclock. father at Ingleside both
morning and afternoon: Lucy Snowden here in the
afternoon: I went to Alban Gilpins and the Library
in the morning.

27^th 1^st day
Clody morning with some rain, cleared off about 9
oclock in the evening: William, Henrietta and Helen
came by on their way to meeting, Helen staid here
and staid all the afternoon: I went home with William
and Henrietta, staid 'till after supper, He and I went
to Uncle Samuels awhile: Annie and Isaac Stone at
Ingleside in the afternoon: Emily and Lucy walked
home with me after supper: cousin Samuel Bevan
called here just after meeting, he and Uncle Samuel
came in the afternoon and father went with them
to Alban Gilpins aqhile and back here to supper
