Clear day: father and Walter went to Ingleside and
Perry Leigear's early this morning: when they came
back. Walter went with me to Brooke Grove: he came
home to dinner, went with father and the Ingleside
children to the Patuxent [rival?] in the afternoon then
on to Brooke Grove to come home with meL Lucy came
to B. G. from Olney, this afternoon, to stay all night.
Emily Briding came to Ingleside today in the stage.

14^th 7^th day
Clear and warm. Lucy came ehome this mornig from
Brooke Grove.

15^th 1^st day
Clear and warm: William, the two Emily's and Lucy
here before meeting: Lucy came again from meeting
and staid 'till after supper: Jimmey Hallowell
here to supper, Walter went home with him: Lucy
and went to Cedar Lawn after supper to see
Deborah Bentley, but did not see her.

16^th 2^d day
Clear and warm mercury up to 95 about 2 oclock
father went to Baltimore, took Seam Harvey: Joe
cutting grass in the Walnut tree field. Walter came
home from Fulford after supper.
