Bright morning: cloudy afternoon, with some rain:
Lucy Snowden spent the day here: she and Lucy
at Gennie Moores awhile in the afternoon: Lucy
went to Uncle Samuels to stay all night. Joe
went to Washington with hay.

10th 3d day
Rained 'till about 9 oclock: cleared off late in the
afternoon: father went for Lucy: Emily came by in
the afternoon and I went to Uncle Samuels with
James Stones with her. Joe got home from Washington
about 4 oclock: went to Inglesde in the
evening.

11th 4th day
Clear and pleasant: Henrietta called f before meeting:
Lucy went to Olney vefore meet from meeting:father
and mother went to Uncle Samuels [until?] afternoon:
mother to Bloomingfield: Kate here to supper, I went
with her after supper to see Aunt Sally Gilpin.

12th 5th day
Clear day: father at Ingeside in the morning: I went
to Ingelside and Uncle Samuels in the afternoon,
took supper at the farmer place: father went to Jackson
Cashells in the afternoon.
