tea Charley & I went to a meeting
of the Montgomery Rifle club.
I joined & was appionted on
a commmittee to draw up a
Constitution & by laws.

Sister Beulah took tea with us
I went to Dr Scott's office in the
Eveneing & we had some music.

B Gilpin Stabler here for advice and
med also Phineas Carol. Summonsed
as witness in Aquilla Cook case to
Rockville

Friday, 21
Reached Rockville about 10 a.m. went
to Court House & gave in my testimony in the
Cook, Aquilla stabbing case. Cook was sent to
"House of Correction" for twelve months.
Reached home abut 3-30 p.m. David Patterson
& Phineas Carol here for advice etc. [Chaas]
Brooke (of Geo:) & Henry Miller here in Evening
Phineas Carol gave our sleigh another coat of
lead colored paint -
