Went to Levi Hopkin's and to
Fred'k Stabler's. Extracted tooth
for [Jno]: Howard. Charley and Dora went
to Riverside on horseback

High Wind N.W.
32° Monday, 31

Extremely high wind all through last
night and today. Went to Hitty Stabler's
and purchased forks of M Soloman.
Warwick Stabler called whilst we were at
supper. Went to Lyceum to debating
society -- Mailed letter to Marg't: Coale
Reed: on Charley's salary $50.00 from Gilpin
and Bentley to meet note tomorrow.

April Tuesday, 1st 1879

[Ges]: Knight called went to Wm S Bond's
& paid note & Warwick P Miller's to prescribe
for his wife. Called at Ashton
Afternoon went to Leas Mill and took two barrels
corn to be [illegible]; snet Israel to Scott's (in wagon)
after the corn. Bro Cha's took tea here, after tea
Walter Scott and Dr Saml Scott came and spent
evening and we had some music.
Jno: Kelcloner commenced running
a second line of stage coaches from
Brookville to Edwad daily.

Phineas Carol whitewashed dining room
and kitchen making 3/4 of a day.
Mrs Chas: Stabler and daughter Mary Anna
called. Sent Israel to Leas Mils af the
[cob ]meal.

Phineas Caroll made 3/4 of a day
at painting in parlor and passage.
Edwd Lea called and paid Helen's bill.
Laura Hill here for advice and med for
child.
