August Tuesday, 26th 1879
Went to Fulford, Riverside and
Ashton - Made box of "dope"
Disagreeable day. Cleared off
about night fall. Charley and
Dora went to a company at
Scotts after tea. Ernest came
to stay all night.

Wednesday, 27th
Was called up before day light to go to
Rich's: Addison's and prescribe for "Annie"
Mr: Eustice Lawford here whilst
I was at breakfast. Afternoon I
took Harriet and children to the
negro camp meeting.

Clear and Cloudy
Thursday, 28th
["Illegible"] Sprigg here for advice
and med for daughter - Archery
meeting at "Fair Hill". I took Dora
and left her there. Charley went for her
after tea. [Illegible] and Lizzie Stabler spent
Evening here Bro R brought sister H to stay and
take stage tomorrow for home. Bro Chas and most
of his family here. Edwd Bentley and Hallie
Chandlee called.

August Friday, 29th 1879
Mifs Lizzie Scott here (before
I was up) to have her burned hand
dressed Rachel Gilpin called to
see sister Harriet who left in the
second stage for Philad"
Cousin Annie Chandlee and Mr Leadbenter
came to make us a little visit. I
went to cousin Mary Chandlee and brought
her over to spend the night with us. Mrs:
Chalfant took tea with us - Charly went
"serenading"

Clear Saturday, 30th W
Charley did not get home until three o'
clock that morning. I had started to [illegible]
him up and met him near home. I took Harriet
and the children and cousins Mary and Annie
Chandlee in the "omnibus" to "Woodburn"
and afterwards took cousins home before hinner.

Andrew Easton had tooth
out before breakfast. Jno: Henderson here
for advice and treatment. Charly went to
