The delicious [handed?] lunch was the first
thing on our program, no one was missing
from this [number?], and from personal
observation it was unanimously enjoyed.
After lunch our Pres. called the meeting
to order - as is the custom, the by-laws
of the society were read first. Then came
the list of places for entertainment for
the coming season, which were as follows.
April. Falling Greeb
May. Fair Hill
June. Avalon
July. Norwood
Aug. Brooke Grove
Sept. The Cedars
Oct. Cloverly

Next came the minutes of the previous
meeting. they were read and adopted.

Clarence Gilpin, our first appointed reader
was absent, & failed it seems, to have a
substitute.

Margaret Bancroft interested us with an
article "Solving Puzzles in Peas".
The writer said "after several years of
study, I have come to the conclusion that
the only safe thing for the home gardener
is to hold on to all the old [sorts?] that
