We were interested in hearing a weather
report (altho' rather chilling & frosty)
from our Ex. Pres., Roger B. Farquhar.
He told us on
April 5. 1863 thre was 6 inches of snow,
& 6 sleighs were at meeting.
April 3-9, 1874 now 3 to 4 in. deep.
April 30. 1881. frost
May 30. 1884 frost
May 18. 1891 mercury 42, frost
May 9. 1898 mercury 34, big frost.

The readers appointed for the next
meeting were Corrie Brooke & Mariana
Miller.

We adjourned to meet at Fair Holl,
the first Tuesday in May, for lunch
It was with great pleasure we took
a walk into that dear old garden
that has for so many years in the
past, produced such fine specimens
of flowers, fruits, & vegetables, from
that master hand.

The rich old garden showed peas,
onions & spinach up - some flowers
were blooming in the neatly trimmed
flower garden, the most conspicuous
