The Porches - June 3d, 1948
Meeting

A simple luncheon - but really a
“[real?]party” - was served to the members and
guests of the Mutual Improvement Association
at “The Porches” on the third of June,
1948 - after which the 1064^th meeting
was called to order at two o’clock in the
afternoon. There being no officers present,
some one dug down into the remote past
and brought forth Mariana Miller to
act as chairman - and Margaret
Jones for secretary.

The minutes of the last meeting with
Emmeline Hill were read for information,
and the minutes of the last meeting
were read and accepted with the addition
of the age - 95 years - of Amy Hutton.

The Treasurer, Bertha Crum, was not
present - and had sent no report -
Margaret Bancroft had sent word that
she will turn over the $39.00 now in her
possession to the new treasurer.
