men could you give me an opertunity [sic] to call on you or could you call at my house. I have my house full of roomes [sic] and boarders so my time is very much occupied but I can be at leasure [sic] any after noon from 2 til 5

My boys are at leasure [sic] only on Saturdays & Friday evenings as one is in the University and the other in the high school

I have long wished I might know you personaly, [sic] as I have known you by reputation for some time. I see by the paper, that you are intending to go to Europe before long. In that event I may never have an opportunity to meet you. I do not know how to address you as am a perfect stranger to you. I am a widdow [sic] and all my possesins [sic] are two splendid suns [sic] of whom I am very proud I should like very much to present them to you as peopl [sic] tell me you are very much interested in young
