I am desirous of obtaining for a friend here in Milan, information on the following points regarding the new University: the composition of the teaching body, the mode of appointment of professors, the qualifications required of candidates for professorships, etc, and further to what body are applications to be made?
If it is not asking too much, I should be greatly indebted to you for such information.
