Dear Mother and Daddy,

It certainly was nice
of you to call me about buying
Christmas presents. I did do a
little, but I couldn't get what
I wanted right away and I
didn't have the time to spend
a lot of time on it. So I think
that I will just wait until
I get home and I can do it
all of Friday afternoon, after
I get home (also after I sleep
a little - I'm prepared for the
sleepless night on the train) - It
certainly will be nice to get home
again. It really doesn't seem
so long, but I hate to think of
all the finals I have to go
through before I can come.

I really didn't do
much this week-end, nothing
much ever happens before finals.
It was the first Saturday night
that I'd stayed in, and compared
to all the Saturday nights most of
the girls have stayed in, I feel
very lucky. Bob came over last
night to see me and George (to
my great surprise) tried to get
ahold of me but I didn't get
to talk to him.

Last night we also
had a very wonderful Christmas
