Line Printer is generating many extra line feeds (such as in the middle of assemblies).

18:32 LPT also fails to print occasional lines, and varies format of those it prints. It shall henceforth be termed RPG = Random Print Generator

The III displays 0, 1, 4, 5 were switched on over the weekend, that keeps the [kathoole?] filaments heated. Is this ok? M.H.H.
IT BETTER BE OK. D.P.

Replaced Format Tape Lamp assembly in Anelex line printer. Also, there are 2 spare hammer modules now at Right hand end of line. They are labled approiately.

Had a burst of parity errors from AMPEX CORE
[printout with annotations]
Restarted at 140, zeroed ampex core. for 30 min, no errors. Ran BLTST for 30 min in ampex core, no errors. The programs running in Ampex core were loaded by loader, which clears fore first and [?]SP which initilizes core, so the errors were not left over from the past. Apparently something hits in bursts.

D Poole worked on data channel to show word with parity error in BR when parity error occurs. MA is 1 or 2 higher than parity error.
Chased "533 bug". Found that it is sensitive to + 10 v margins on core 3 1F & 1H (sense amplifiers) it appears that feeding +5 V to them solves all problems.
Tried replacing 1997 in 1M14 in core 3 made bug worse, but only slightly.

PS If I could find the memory looks, I'd line up core.
