Dear Daddy,

It was certainly nice to see you
& introduce you to Shey-poo. We
had a nice day down there. Maybe
the next time we get together, you
can stay longer. We're pretty well
tied to Palo Alto for the next six months,
at least, until we accumulate some
vacation time. Jim is getting pretty
tired, since his last vacation was
our honeymoon, but we're looking forward
to another trip like that, a real
getaway, from jobs, part-time & full-time.
We do plan to go through Beverly Hills,
though, & of course we'll bring She, who
will be closer to a traveling age by
then. We'd certainly be glad to see
you & mother if you could break
away for a weekend in Palo Alto.

She is just on the verge of taking
her first step. She stands alone, &
her balance is good enough to allow
her to juggle a toy while doing it.
