go to another meeting, & then receive a
directive to clarify the text of the first
meeting. Bureacracy & red tape are a
bearable liability of county employment,
since the supervision is light-handed,
& we get all the holidays the banks get,
& a few more. I really like the job, though,
since it is a good general beginning
in the field that can lead to anything
I choose or that is convenient to our
future plans. For a bottom rung, the
pay isn't bad, either.

momentarily, so our niece Kathy, age 8 1/2
is spending the weekend & Mon. with
us. We were all set to go to the P.O.
with this letter & on to the grocery
store, but they got crankey & fell
asleep after two slurps of milk. We
also have to go by St. Ann's for Easter
choir practice, which is going to be
