very late trying to meet that life guard. I also leanred not to drink beer so much as I had then, even if it's free. Also I learned not to worry about love. Let it be and come spontaneously. Saturday evening upset me a lot since Shane + I had confused our plans.

So on Monday I didn't see John Sebolewski but went to Doctor for General Checkup. Then went to bed. Stayed there Tuesday as I learned how to take better care of myself. Then Wed I made plans for coming time, and reminisced the summer. Then I saw John and made fixes to Editx. Got things underway. Left for Stanford Friday and got to Albuquerque same day Oct 10. At Stanford I arranged housing, saw Prof MacWhorter about EE 211 Grade B (Principles of Pulse and Timing Circuits Fall '74 where I messed up final exam), saw Layne, mellower now, and wrote up stuff for Engr. Barely made it to plane. Steward on plane asked me if I liked reading "The Front Runner."
