I slept in on Saturday Dec 14 practiced piano entered MC and Visa and went to parents to watch All About Eve which I had rented. Sunday I finished my Net Worth accounts in Excel and then closed out December 1. That was the first time I ever had a complete accurate personal financial picture. After going to the gym Bob and I went to Christmas parties at Rick Ulrichs and Risk Freebergs. Very nice time.

On Monday Dec 16 the whole group met with Bill and I hardly talked again. I gave Bill a copy of Wimp. That afternoon I wrote more about testing. Also I sent Kate Russell and Bill Gates a memo about my option vesting schedule. Tuesday I typed in my notes very bored. In the evening I had a very unimpressive piano lesson. Wednesday I took care of car tire rotation chiropractor etc. I also got message from Bill saying that my previous option vesting schedule was very nonstandard and that my future one would have the first 1/4 shares vesting after 1.5 years. So by the time Works is almost complete I would have only 500 more shares.

I spent the rest of Wednesday reading Lotus 123 Simplified which I had always wanted to read and finally had a chance because I was supposed to see if WKS format is adequate for Works. Later I read Arrays Inc financial reports and stored them at home with Pers Acct notes. Thursday I went to the gym had lunch with Gustavo Medina finished reading 123 and read first part of Excel in Business which had just arrived. Friday all day I really got into that book and played with Excel as I read.

On Saturday I practiced piano went to the gym did errands and wrote weekly report to Jeff. That is not as bad as writing to Tony. The only way I can see staying at Microsoft is if I report to Jeff maybe by concentrating on testing. Saturday night Bob and Mary Jean came by for a drink and we all went to party at Barbara Baileys and then to Catherines and then to Neighbors. Fun!

On Sunday December 22 I was tired. After reading Infoworld I decided to contribute to 11 charities sending note alon to each saying not to include my name on any lists distributed outside of the charity. In the evening Bob and I watched a remake of Wonderful Life with Marlo Thomas. Homey.

On Monday Dec 23 I finished the first 8 chapters of Excel. And then I went to work and found a copy of Lotus 123 on my desk so I played with it for awhile just to see what it looked and felt like as a character based app. In the evening I was going to study music theory but David came by to invite
