really up to being that lonely and considering the fact that Im not imaginative I thought mgt would be best. But then I said to myself that Im not particularly good at personal relationships so Id better not go for mgt. But the fact is they are one and the same choice. Implementing requires very different skills from designing and even a different personality. Its not good to try to do both jobs in one person. It just takes too long. Both external and self imposed pressure and boredom at not achieving quickly. But the designs that designers turn cur must be implemented in detail and it is the designers who must manage this implementation since it is they who must continue the conceptual integrity of the design when implementors find flaws. And of course the designers then are leaders not just managers.

But here are just a few other ideas. I had thought I might actually be excited about working in several places as an implementor. I cant be happy in just one location long term. I need a variety to keep me up as an implementor because so little excitement is coming from the work. The best strategy was to have 3 clients one in LA one in OC and one in SEA all of which would provide for tax deductible apartments there and also have a home in SF. (do nothing in Sil Val since that is a boring living envt.)
But the problem with this is it just wont last. I cant be an implementor for the rest of my life and I think Id run out of fun things to do. I like fun for relaxation not for itself. The OC work was just a lucky break away from myself.
