1April 20, 1945 Office of the President Dear Sir. I received your letter of March 1945 and since the questions you asked have long been on my mind, I am taking the time to answer. First off all among my post-war plans I intend to return to Stanford shortly after the end of my military service. I hope to be greeted with a "business as usual" attitude where ever possible. I plan to undertake the same course of study as I [abandoned?] in March 1943. I don't expect any modifications in the courses except where it is necessary to refresh some of the older students.
