and thence to Zurich. We are D.V.

St. Gothard, [also spelt Gotthard] Oberland, Valais, Chamonaix [also spelt Chamonix]
Vevey, Geneva, &c &c., and to be
back in England before the 10th Nov. [?]
Then only 14 days in England
before I set out again indeed only
13 days. No one was in town
and there was no news that I could get at. I omitted to say
in my last letter 1st August
that Frencis Norman had
