Bye & bye I may go down for a bit for
I believe I am better – Vigant is to
go to Christian tomorrow for a "shoot"
He would not go if I wanted him
but what can he do here ? It is
very dull & uncomfortable too –
and then I worry my self as to how
he is getting on so that it would
be selfish to keep him – & perhaps also
I shall rally more quickly if I am
alone – but it has been a very big
disappointment and alas! the
weeks of leave are slipping away
There is no hope of my being fit
to move this week – I like the
Dr I had to consult a local man
Dr Chep [Chepwell] wrote to do so unless I was
soon much better – the Dr here now
thinks I shall soon be out again
"nous verrons" he doesn't know me
but I shall try my best
