Dear Sir,

Mr. & Mrs. Boyd's Trust

You will remember that, after the marriage of Mrs Robert Lancaster Johnstone (one of Mr. & Mrs. J. Curwen Boyd's daughters) in 1878 we sent you certain Documents which were merely formal Notices to the Trustees and Holders of certain Trust Funds belonging to Mrs Boyd and which consist of two sums of

£5000 [in pencil: due 28 April 1889] and £1200 [in pencil: 1227. 19. 4 - " 8 Feby 1890] standing on fixed deposit with you.

May we  ask you to be good enough to hold the enclosed documents which are merely further notices relating to the same Funds upon which the Trustees and Holders will have to act, when the Funds come to be dealt with on Mrs Boyd's death.

We shall be much obliged by your kindly acknowledging the receipt of the letter and the enclosures
