Butler did not give me your note
until after your Bugsy has left last evening - I would
then have sent the Butler but could find no one
to carry it - I find by weight it takes 15 of my candles
to weigh as much as 12 of yours so I send you 3 times
15 - which makes the 2 dozen I borrowed & the
one dozen receiv'd last night - I have a bad head
ache this morning - the rest as usual the L - lazy
D. was not well last night - Hannah is laid up so
you may suppose I am put out. Do come over
when you can - Kiss the dear babies & love to Wm
