Office of HUGHES COUNTY EQUAL SUFFRAGE ASS'N.

PIERRE, November 2, 1898

DEAR SIR: We call you attention to the enclosed literature concerning the enfranchisement of women. A canvass shows that 80 per cent of the women of Hughes county want the right to vote and now ask you to vote for the proposed amendment to Article 7 of our State Constitution. Please place your "X" opposite the word "Yes" for that amendment on the ballot.

Respectfully, JANE R. BREEDEN, President.

CASSIE R. HOYT, Corresponding Secretary.
