SUN. 11 Mandel - Bishop Anderson spoke Took walk - beautiful day lay down Convocation Sunday. [crossed out]
MON. 12 finish Eng. 3. term paper. went walking after dinner. College Day [crossed out]
TUES. 13 Eng 3 exam in afternoon. Not very hard Table party for Miss Laren[?] Summer Convocation [crossed out]
WED. 14 Eng 41 exam in afternoon. Long but not hard. Took walk. Examinations. Packed
THUR. 15 Finished packin[?] Studied history hard Said Good-bye to Annie Stel[?] came home to Lloyd's graduatio[?] Examinations. lovely! Mr. Biggs called up
FRI. 16 History exam har[?] Lloyd came down to help carry things. left about 2. Got $50 for prize. Examinations. Spring Quarter ends.
SAT. 17 Went to city with Nana. Went out to U.[?] Got new hat - white pana[?] fine time. Banked $50

SUN. 18 Sunday School and church CE and church in evneing sang in choir glad to be back again.
MON. 19 Cold and rainy! Unpacked trunk and got things settled. Dada in Indianapolis
TUES. 20 Began tutoring Freddy thru third [?rade. Enjoying it.
WED. 21 [?]atered & picked [?]opp's flowers. They are [?]n the Adirondacks. Crocheting and reading.
THUR. 22 Dada back. Recipe shower for [?]lorence Auyers in evening [?]ovely time. I read poem.
FRI. 23 Made an apron for Nana's birthday Reading. Learned new piece on piano Crocheting a bag. went to library
SAT. 24 Florence's wedding [?]t 3:00, Reception at her [?]ouse afterwards Lovely [?]ime. Florence looked adorable

SUN. 25 SS. and church lay down in afternoon & read. CE Sang with Mrs. Gibson's class at evening service.
MON. 26 Raining hard. Letter from Mr. Biggs. Reading & crocheting Ebby sick
TUES. 27 Uncle Tom to dinn[?] Played with the children School coming fine. Went to Womans Society Meeting - nice time
WED. 28 Went with Mamma to North Evanston Reading Went to prayer meetin[?] Finished crocheted bag
THUR. 29 Wrote letters. Ebby better Starting to crochet turn-overs for Nana
FRI. 30 Lovely day crocheted and read Prepared for SS & CE new typewriter ribbon
SAT. July 1 Sunday School picnic Lovely time Walked home with girls - pretty tired

SUN. 2 S.S. and church Taught SS class for first time. class of boys Freddy in it Led CE myself large attendance Uncle Tom to dinner
MON. 3 Letter from Annie Steele Spent day in Lincoln Park with Dada too. glorious day. Saw everything played ball etc.
TUES. 4 Picnic at Lake in afternoon with Uncle Tom Fireworks on lake front at night - beautiful fine day Independence DAy; a holiday.
WED. 5 went to library Freddy's lessons as usual Mona's baby born - a boy Uncle Tom very pleased
THUR. 6 Phil was killed in France near Fricourt all so sorry about it Uncle Tom came down to tell us.
FRI. 7 Marcelle came over in afternoon May came over after dinner went riding with Rices - way out west & north. fine
SAT. 8 went down to North Evanston. Dada & boys went to lake

SUN. 9 SS. class again 8 there church Miss Van Somerin, a Manx girl & Uncle Tom came down to spend the afternoon, stayed to lunch
MON. 10 Mamma & I making little pink comfort for Mona's baby. Went over to Marcelle's crocheted & went with her to Northwest library
TUES. 11 Read & crocheted Course book came. History - AEng 3 - A Eng 41 - A 44 grade poin[?] Great Joy! 2 A's !!
WED. 12 Went over to May's Helen & Esther there Crocheted & played croquet lovely time Reception at church in evening I served
THUR. 13 Crocheted & read Dada went to Indianap[?] Boys badly sunburned. hav[?] been to the lake nearly every day.
FRI. 14 Verna entertained Helen, Gertrude & I. Lovely time. hot day
SAT. 15 Mamma & boys went to lake. I went to Mov[?] with Topps in car. got[?] Examination for removal of condi- [crossed out] tions and incompletes. [crossed out] pop corn and red pop
