SUN. 16 SS. class (9) there) and [?]hurch. Walked to [?]ake in afternoon - lovely. [?]ast CE for summer

MON. 17 Wrote letters Went to Helen's. All the girls there. Had a very nice time

TUES. 18 Went to Northwestern with Marcelle for [?]eading of "Servant in the [?]ouse". Splendid.

WED. 19 got pictures developed Verna took me in West Side Park - Memorial Day crocheted and read.

THUR. 20 Raining hard Saw movie with Mrs. [?]opp, Buddy & BoysFanchon the Cricket"

FRI. 21 went to city with Mamma [?]ot bathing suits etc. [?]aw "In the Bishop's Carriage." [?]n evening went with Mrs. T. to see"Market of Vain Desires

SAT. 22 Making Christmas [?]resents Went down to beach- boys Dada went in.

JULY 1916

SUN. 23 SS. & church Uncle Tom came down - Union service a[?] our church - lovely music

MON. 24 Went to city with Freddy to change m[?] bathing suit for goods. [?] Mamma's nearly done.

TUES. 25 Reading at Northwes[?] "Dawn of a Tomorrow Fine. Lawn party on the church lawn

WED. 26 Dada went to Columbus & Indianapo[?] Sent in application for library servi[?] Examinations for first term of Summer [crossed out] Quarter. [crossed out] First term of Summer Quarter ends. [crossed out]

THUR. Suit done - went i[?] lake with Mamma [?] the boys. Great fun. Weath[?] Second Term of Summer Quarter [crossed out] begins. [crossed out] terribly hot.

FRI. 28 Mamma & boys went in lake ag[?] Crocheted & read. very hot.

SAT. 29 Dada came hom[?] All went in lake lots of fun-

SUN. 30 Hottest day yet. Very few at church & S. S. Uncle Tom came down Mamma & I went to Gibsons in evening.

MON. 31 Much cooler. Mamma & Dada went [?]own to see about new electric washer. Finished pink crocheted yoke.

August TUES. 1 went with Marcelle & Georgie to Northwestern to [?]eading of "The Fourth [?]state" - fine. Dada gone to Akron O.

WED. 2 [?]an demonstrated [?]den" washer here. Fine. writing letters. Hair washed. Lovely weather now.

THUR. [?]ad Leah Eldridge, Verna [?]icker, Helen Kirtland, & [?]rtrude Tabor over for the afternoon Mama & I went to movies - [?]aw Mary Pickford in "The Girl of Yesterday."
