New York Decem 19 1871

W. W. Crapo
New Bedford

Dear Sir,
Mr. Beaman writes us that a Mr. Holmes one of the owners in Bark "Ocean Rover" destroyed by the "Alabama" is desirous of putting his claim in our hands
& Mr. B. suggests that you see all the other owners & see if we cannot secure the whole of the claims.

Will you kindly see to it & oblige.

Mr. Beaman thinks there is but little doubt now of his being ordered to Geneva - this is in confidence.

Truly Yours
Barling & Davis
