see my way clear to leave my little
family shall go in July—should I have
occasion to go to N York ^in the mean time^ will certainly
call and see you. I suppose you
are in correspondence with friends
in [So?] Boston who keep you fully posted of
all that is going on there—I know
nothing myself ^that [will?] interest you^ except that the church
is pretty well filled, especially when we have a good Preacher.

I regret exceedingly to hear
of your sickness—your letter gave me
the [past?] intimation [of?] [it?] hope you
are speedily recovering and that you
will live many—many years.

My family are well and all of
them grow finely—especially the [babe?]
under the kind treatment of Mrs [Hinckley?]
who still keeps my house. this letter is
not called for but I could not [word smeared]
away so kind and generous letter
