Re: Corrections to Questionaire [Questionnaire] dated To: Dorothy Nell Saunders From: Vel Phillips

Because this questionaire [questionnaire] was dictated over the phone and there was no opportunity to proof read before mailing, there were mistakes which could lead to a misunderstanding. I favor a Sunday Luncheon and or a Cocktail Reception. However, I would like some open discussion. Also, I favor a souvenir of some kind but I concur with the majority anniversary committee recomendation [recommendation] for only one souvenir. Finally, we have never set forth a budget and I think this should be done as soon as possible. We should meet and clarify these things.

This course provides an overview of black politics at the city, county and state levels. It is concerned wtih (1) measures of black political power, (2) self-interest issues, (3) coalitions for mutual interest, and (4) critical analysis of methods which purport to study black politics at the city and state level.
