Monday JANUARY 23 1911 Dick & I walked 14 blocks. Mrs. Stainforth called. I went down & did some shopping & walked 8 more blocks The (orchestra?) met & (Maj. De?) Freys & the Hackwoods were here. Didn't sleep a little bit - heard things.

Tuesday JANUARY 24 1911 Went over to see Mrs Milligan - she is very sick afraid its quite serious. Frank went hunting with Billy & Dr Robinson. It is raining a steady rain. Dick is fine.

Wednesday JANUARY 25 1911 Am afraind Pete can't go to the girls party on Saturday. Took Dick down to the end of the street car line & back. He is a dear. (Franees?) has a headache - rain about over. Went to prayer meeting.

Thursday JANUARY 26 Mrs Smith & Phillys came over - I looked (girly?) with my hair in two pigtails. Frank & I went to the Orphium (Orpheum?) - it was good. poor Pete is sick. rain is over.

Friday JANUARY 27 1911 Beautiful day. Went down (louire?) & bought curtains for the back bed room - had (unknow?) finished before bed-time. Mrs (Requa?) will take Petes place tomorrow. cold & clear. Beautiful day - but no rain yet the farmers are discouraged. Dick is no better - will take him to Dr Moore this afternoon.
