The plantiff then read in evidence on alias (?) execution [fund?]
on said judgement, and also the levies endorsed thereon,
in the words following,

The State of Alabama
St Clair County

To any sheriff in the State of Alabama
Greeting - You are hereby com
manded as heretofore, that of the goods and chattels, lands &
tenements of Robert Lawson, if to be found in your county
you cause to be made the sum of two hundred and eighty dollars
which William Johnson, lately at the fall term of our Circuit
Court in [suit?] for said County, hath reordered against him for
damages, also the sum of Twelve (??) which to the said -
William Johnson in the same court was [a?] judged for
part in that behalf extended, whereof the said Thweat
Lawson is convicted as appears to us of record, and that,
you have the said sums before the Judge of our said court
on the First Monday in September next to [winter-?] unto
the said William Johnson of damages and cost afore=
said, and have you then and there this writ,
[N-?] Charles C.P. Farran, Clerk of the said Court at office
this the Twenty-second day of April, in the year of our lord
one thousand Eight-hundred and forty seven, and of American
Independence 71st year, (?) 22nd day of April 1847 -
