Feb 2 Jimmie Plowing Tom and Jacobs mare they finished burning planbead in slash

1877 March 10th Sunday March 11 Monday Ammon Scye cutting in new ground Ma went up to Sallies Jim went with her to day -

March 12. Tuesday Ammon Scye and Jim and annie cleaning up and fencing grass lot

March 13th Wednesday finished cleaning up and fixing grass lot in front of Granary

March 14th hauling out and scattering corn stalks on grass lot

March 15th Jim plowing grass lot today Ammon Scye thrashing out oats

March 16th Ammon Jim Throwing down corn beds - scyharrowing in oats Ammon sowing oats to day Annie sick been laid up in the house 3 days to day

March 17th Snowed all day today fencing all hands to day

March 18th Sunday snow on the ground all day March 19th Monday Mauling wood and hauling wood March 20th Tuesday fencing all day with all hands

March 21st fencing with all hands to day

March 22d fencing yard fence until dinner after dinner throwing down corn beds and sowing and harrowing in oats

March 23rd fixed grass lot in front of Granary put 1 Bus 3 pecks oats on lot 1½ Bus orchard grass seed and

1 gal and 3 qts of clover seed on the lot pening and running water furrows in lot Jim throwing down in corn beds for oats Scye Marshall and Anne hauling fodder hauling rails for lot back of yard warm pretty weather Set Turkey hen the 22nd March ______ ______ _____ March 24th Saturday Throwing down corn beds sowing and harrowing in oats thrashing out oats.

March 25 - Sunday

March 26 Sent to mill to day striped Tobacco until Dinner then went to cleaning up on branch in lot below the spring

March 27 all hands cleaning up ditches finished triming up trees to day.

March 28th finished cleaning up ditches in corn field to day finished cleaning up head of ditch that Edmond cut in corn field

March 29th all hands cleaning off new ground and hauling wood clear cold and windy -

March 30th Throwing down corn beds and sowing oats Scye Marshall coltering Annie raking and cleaning off new ground

Feb 23rd Jimmie plowing Silas hauling rails Ammon fencing Annie fencing also -- 26th Carried wheat to Millers Will Fen cleaning & Plowing

27 I went to Mount Airy after Window glass paning Hauling Rails Plowing clear pretty day got some Molas molasses for myself

28 Fencing cleaning up and Plowing I went to Mr Yates & Lowery - but did not see him

March 1 fine days yesterday & to day cleaning up hauling & Plowing & expect to Plow Gardens did not plant Beets or peas prepared the land and got it ready Topping trees in the Yard Ammon Dillard Topping the trees

1877 March 3rd J W Graves went to Millers Mill with Jim and cart carried 1 Barrel corn Bro Back meal flour etc and Silas Marshall went to William Tuckers after Cart Paper Trees planted there out in yard Jacob & Ammond Dillard gone to his plantation after corn

March 4 Sunday all staid at home to day

March 5th Ammon & Jim Coltering hedges and Silas Marshall coltering new ground Annie raking new ground --

March 6th Jacob commenced eating to himselse to Ammond Dillard helping him fix up his stove in weaving house Annie scouring out weaving house Silas Coltering in New ground - Jim plowing

March 7th Ammond Dillard and Silas Marshall dragin out logs off of new ground with oxen Jim plowing hauled up stack of oats to day --

March 8th Ammond Dillard & Jim plowing tobacco land - Silas Marshall Coltering new ground Annie Anderson grubbing

March 9th Ammond Dillard & Jim and myself went up on the Creek with wagon and cart carried 3500 shingles to build my house Silas working in new ground Ammon about the house cold and windy -- --
