Sunday November 6, 1921
A good day. I went to Reynols and spent the day. Posey & Nancy K [?] was there. Mollie had a good dinner. I enjoyed my visit.
I walked up there. Posie brought me home on Johnsons car. Johnson & Christenia & Charlott all come with me home. Josie got dinner at home. Janie & Emet Brumfield was here late this evening. Ben & family went to Gretna to meet Jim. The train was late so it was dark when they got home. Jim has gone to Marvins to night.
Monday November 7, 1921
A good day. Ben carried Edna to Dr Owens and got the stiches taken out of her lip. I do hope she will not have any more trouble of that sort. Jim went to Mr Kellies then they stripped tobacco. They are at Marvins helping tie tobacco to night. I ironed some this morning. Josie got dinner.
This evening Josie went to Mr Woddings to see Miss Willie Woding. She was not at home. Mrs Kent was and she had a good visit. Franklin & Mabel and I went to see Carrie. Martha Miller went from there this evening. I know Carrie will miss her so much.
Tuesday November 8, 1921
A good day. Ben served as one of the judges at the elect tion. He sent Irvin Harvey for Josie and I. We went and voted. We voted the Democrat ticket. We went to Otho Blairs a while. Kate & Virginia Harvey/Moses as was was there. We had a pleasant visit. Josie went to see Carrie a few minutes. Mabel & Franklin has sore feet so that they can hardly walk.
Wednesday November 9, 1921
A rainy day. Ben & Jim stripped tobacco. Henry went to school. Franklin & Mabel has sore feet. I went to Marvins a few minutes. Found them well.
Nothing happened today worth writing.
We got the Lynchburg news telling that Trinkle is elected just as I expected. Hope he may make a good govonor.
Thursday November 10, 1921
A good day. Jim & Ben stripped tobacco. Josie helped to tye this evening. I stayed at the house and mended some overalls. Franklin & Mabel went to the barn but did not stay long. Josie got dinner. I ironed some this morning. Ben got the light engine to start at twelve oclock. We was all glad that it started with out a trip to Gretna. Henry & Edna went to school. I have not seen any of Marvins folks today. Oh how I am going to miss them when they are gone if I live to see that time. Jim & Ben have not come from the barn yet. 10 oclock
