A good day. Ben & Jim stripped tobacco all day and tonight. Josie and I got dinner. Josie ironed some this evening. I went to Marvins. They were well. Normon Booker brought two loads of stalk feed there this evening. I am going to miss Marvins family so much. I dont like to think a bout there moveing.

A colde windy day. Ben stripped tobacco. He finished a curing. Henry tied all the time that Ben was sorting and Josie part of the time. Jim went to Chatham. Today was Nellies birth day. Reese Smith carried Jim and Paul and I went. I bought several things. Reubin and Robbert Reynols come with Reese as far as their home. They had bin to Black Stone to play football and was on their way back to Chatham. Josie ironed to day and got dinner and supper. I went to Marvins this evening. Carrie was ironing. Henry & Ben went to Renan late this evening. Ben bought a peice of beef for Sundays dinner.

A good day. There was ice a plenty this morning. I went to Kate Harveys this morning. Went by Reynols's and come back by there. Jim Brumfield come with Posie from Gretna. Johnson brought us home. Posie & Charlott come with us. I was glad to get to ride but hate to be a trouble. I eat dinner with Kate. Dr Wiggonton & Pearl was there. I was glad to see them. Ben & Josie staid at home. I did not see Carrie to day. The little boys was here a while this evening. I am glad that Jim got home and did not have to walk.

A rainy morning. Henry went to school. Edna staid at home. Jim & Ben helped Marvin load on his tobacco & he helped Ben load his. They intend going to Gretna in the morning. Josie made Edna some pettie coats & the baby some gowns. I got up at five this morning and got breakfast. Had beef steak. I milked the cow & fed all of the cows. Fed the chickens. Put on to boil some beef and potatoes and peas. Toasted some coffee and churned. Made bread and coffee and finished dinner. This evening I went to Marvins. Kate Harvey come to Marvins and come here a few minutes. Reese was to take her home but he was so late getting home I guess she was gone.

A Beautiful day. We got up at three oclock and got breakfast for Ben. He started for Gretna Marvin went two. They got there OK but the tobacco solde for so near nothing they loaded it on and brought it home.

Jim stripped on his all day. Josie got dinner. I sewed on my quilt in the morning in the evening I went to George Bliars. They were stripping tobacco at Blairs. Ren & Ethel Worsham and Cordie Blair was gone to LynchBurg. Josie and the little children went to see Carrie a while.

Ben never got home until after nine oclock tonight.
