Apr 23 continued I sowed a few peas and
some lettuce seed. I sold the seine to 2
Cheyenne chaps. They paid me 7 dolls [$7.00] and agree
to pay the rest when they got back from
Cheyenne and they are to leave the seine here
when they are not using it until it is
paid for.

Tues Apr 24 Rather pleasant to day [today]
again. Johny and I went to town this
morning and done some business of one
kind and another got home about noon
and John plowed this afternoon for barley.
I fixed the fence where the duck hunters tore
it down and sowed a few peas.

Wed April 25 Clear and dry. John
finished plowing the piece over in the N W
corner and got it most harrowed over.
I sowed some telephone peas and some
american wonder peas and planted 3 rows of
string beans and cory corn all on the piece
north of the house. Then I planted some
cory corn down in the orchard and
irrigated the strawberry bed.

Thurs Apr 26 Variable weather but
still we had the invariable wind. John clod
crushed and harrowed. I sowed the N W corner
piece to barley and about one third over again
to alfalfa seed and sold Mr Marble a ton of
hay and he brought us over a mess of fish.
