A colde windy day. Ben carried a load of wood to the school house this morning and then helped shuck corn at Kates. They got done by twelve.

This evening Ben and Josie and Marvin went to Altavista.

Josie washed this morning. I kept Franklin all day. I got a letter from Effie Brumfield today and got Fanny and Julia Emersons picture.

Tonight Doris Brumfield and Christine Reynolds is here. They come with the children from school. Miss Janie Gravley did not teach to day.

I am not well tonight. Hope I may feel better by morning.

A clear colde day. Ben & Josie and Virginia come home this morning between two & three oclock. They said that they had a fine time at Woodings.

I got breakfast. Josie got dinner. She baked cocoa nut pies for dinner. Ben and Owen sawed some wood this evening. Virginia went home this evening.

Nearly all of Lee Brumfields people is sick. I feel so troubled a bout so much sickness.

Cloudy most of the day Ben went to John Hutchersons a while this morning

I went to Marvins and eat dinner. Carrie had a good dinner Josie and the children staid at home. Lee_s people is sick. Some of them very sick. I am so uneasy a bout them I want to hear from all of the children so bad hope I may hear soon.

We are having a very colde spell of weather

A clear colde day

Ben and Owen hauled some feed and wood this morning. This evening Owen went to Strait Stone and Cedar Forest. Ben went to Lee Brumfields after some lumber. I sowed some. Josie got dinner. Finished the edge on Ednas petticoat.

Some of Lees folks is mighty sick.

A clear colde day

Ben worked on Owens house most of the day. Josie done a big washin. I staid with the children and got dinner this evening. Ben and Josie went to Jim Powers Rufus and Max Car is visiting their mother

Miss Snead left Lee Brumfields to day. Charley Hutcherson carried her to Gretna. That is what Lee tolde Josie over the phone
