A good day. Very warm for the time of year.

Josie & I got dinner.

Nellie went home this evening. Ben carried her to Gretna. Jim and Franklin went.

I went to Marvins a few minutes. Ren & Ethel and all their children come a while this evening. I was glad to see them.

We agreed to take a negro girl to help us. She came this morning to see us.

Lawson Emerson & Jo Edmons come this evening to see Henry.

Aubra & Emet Brumfield was at Marvins this evening and Irvin Harvey. They had a time riding wheels.

A good day. Ben & Jim stripped tobacco all day. I got dinner. Bessie the colored girl washed.

This evening Franklin & I went to Marvins. Carrie was washing. She finished while I was there.

We heard to night over the phone that Ludia Barnett was killed by a train today. That is so bad. Her folks will miss her so much.

Josie made Edna a cap and a box. Had good luck with both.

A rainy day most of the time. Jim & Marvin hauled some corn. Henry went to the store.

Ben went to Mr Powers. Got a load of corn. Bought it from Mrs Car. They paid $10 dollars per bbl.

I went to Marvins a few minutes this evening.

Tom Edmons was here awhile tonight. Franklin come in my room & went to sleep in my lap.

We finished up after killing hogs to day.

A good day. Ben & Jim hauled some stalks and cut feed.

Josie washed a gain today.

I got dinner. Boiled meat in the dineing room & started to the cook room and stumbled and fell and spilt some of the meat. It did not hurt me. Burnt me a little. I am glad it did not hurt me and I am very sorrie that it happened.

I hemed two little sheets for Franklins bed.

Denia Blair come this evening. I was very glad to see her. I have not seen any of Marvins folks this week. Hope that tomorrow will be good.

A bad day. Hailed & sleet. Ben put in some window glass. Jim attended to the stock. Josie got dinner.

Henry went to school. Edna & Franklin played and made all the nois that they could. Mabel cried a lot.

I commenced a quilt for Josie.

Jim & Ben has gone to Renan tonight. I think they will have a rough time.
