A good day. Ben & Henry suckered tobacco this morning.

This evening Ben carried Henry & Edna and Franklin and I to White Falls. I brought home 21 fish. They were all small. We cooked them for supper. Josie staid at home with Mabel. She made Edna a gown. Edna is very glad of it.

No rain yet. We need it so bad.

I have not seen Carrie today. I miss her if I dont see her often. I guess I will get use to not seeing her.

A beautiful day. The men worked in the tobacco all day. They say that the worms are very bad.

Josie caned six cans of corn and tomatoes.

This evening Ben carried Josie, Edna, & Franklin and Mabel to Mr Jim Powers to see Mrs Fletcher Car & children. Ben said he did not get out of the car. I know he did not stay long any where. Tonight Ben & Henry has gone after them.

I sent 8 chickens for Miss Anna Hubbard.

Have ironed some this evening.

A clear dry day. Jim worked on the barn. Ben went to Strait Stone to get the waggon tire cut. He got horse shoes and put them on him self.

Tonight Ben & Josie have gone to Cedar Forest. The children are all here. Franklin & Mabel have gone to sleep. Henry is up stairs reading. Edna has polished my shoes. I am glad that she did.

I washed some today. Josie got dinner and cleaned the yard some.

Marvin & Carrie went to Strait Stone this morning. Carrie got goods to make Paul blouses. I was there this evening. She was sewing on them.

A clear hot day. Ben & Jim and Henry, Edna, Franklin, Reese, Paul, Roy all went to Altavista to a show. I think they all enjoyed it very much. Today is Paul Smiths birth day. He is nine years olde. Josie sewed some this evening.

I went to Marvins a while. Carrie was makeing Roy some blouses. I am going to make the button holes.

I put my glasses in the range this morning and ruined them. I have mised them so much today.

A good day. Jim & Ben cut tobacco. They cut Jims tobacco and commenced on Bens. Josie sewed. She made Franklin a pair of pants. I went to Marvins as usual.

Doris & Janie Brumfield & Delma Owen and Christenia Reynols com to Marvins and bathed in the pond that the children has in the branch.

Kates heifer got hurt this evening. I am very sorry it happened.
