sail again and royal latter part a freash breese
and pleasant weather at 9 got [alunor] mai[n]
the longitude 38,14 long by chronometer at the sam[e]
time was 38.55 Lat by obvervation 39.15 Long 38.00

from SW by W and pleasant weather Middle part
much the same at 7 AM saw 3 spurm wha[les]
forced and chast but could not get near them
went on board again Nothing more remarkable
