Gentlemen

In the year 1893 there was three pieces of property left off of the assessment of B.F. Read by mistake, the tax is $31.92 and cash $7.50 I am ready to pay the tax, but dont think I ought to be required to pay this amount of cost as it was left off by mis-take and has been overlooked by all parties till a few days ago. I respectfully ask that the cost be remitted.
