But this is one time I must let you know my doings. I have moved,but just temporarily. I had a little trouble with my land-lord -- his wife went to hosp. to have a baby and he began to drink heavily and get very amourous. When he found he could get no-where with me he became very nasty--so I moved. I am now at 51 E. Springfield St--I don't know whether this is Roxbury or Boston. It is not a bad neighborhood, but still it is not too good to be coming home from

work 1-2 A. M. as I do. I have an apartment here a large bedroom, a bath, and a nice kitchen -- $8 a week. It is very clean but a little Spartan as to furniture. It is bright + airy -- but I don't intend to stay here over a month. I am going to take my time and find

a place that I really like in the same locality I have been living in and settle down for the winter. I will let you know as soon as I find one.

In the meantime I am still at the Copley Plaza and like it very much. But $25 with

all the taxes removed looks pretty sick now. I have 2 possibilities of day hostess work at $3.5 a week which I will take if I get one -- that is with your permission. One is at the Hotel [Louraine?] and the other is at the Lucerne at North Station. I am not so enthused about the Lucerne and I believe it is sort of a cocktail lounge or something. I will wait for the [Louraine?] one I think. The hostess there now is getting married soon and moving away and the job is mine as soon as she goes if I want it. Not bad $[3.5?] per -- meals, uniforms
