1 oz Corrosive Sublimate 1 " Quick-Silver 1 " Iodine with Lard only to form a Past
Directions for Mixing
Rub the Quicksilver and Iodine together, then add the Sublimate and finally the Lard rubbing thoroughly together. Shave off the hair and greese outside of the cut hair; rub in as much as you can hold on the pint of a Jack knife each morning for 4 mornings and in seven or 8 days the spav in will come of then wash with cast steel soap & rain water and apply green salve for healing

Spavin Liniment 1 oz Oil Spike 1 oz " Origanum 1 oz oil ceder 1 oz British Oil 1 oz Spirits turpentine 1/2 oz pulverised Spanish Fly Apply 3 mornings if bad & if not 2 times then in 4 days grease with sweet oil or lard after one day wash & grease again till well
Bog Spavin & Wind Galls 1 oz Pulverised cantherides 2 oz Merciurial Ointment 11/2 oz Tincture Iodine 2 oz Spirits Turpentine 1 1/2 drs Corrosive Subliment 1 lb lard. Mix well & rub in with hand, and leave for 2 days then grease in 2 days wash & repeat

Sweeny Liniment 8 oz Spirits Turpentine 8 " Alcohol 3 oz Oil spike 1 oz Oil ceder [Capsicum Tincture is crossed out] 1 oz camphor gum 1 oz Pulverized Catharides Mix well & bathe this in with a hot iron twice a day till cured
Condition Powders 4 oz Fenugreek 4 oz Cream Tarter 4 oz Gentian 4 oz Sulphur 4 oz Salt peter 4 oz Bosin. Black antimony and Ginger also 2 oz Cayenne. Mix well together Dose is 1 tablespoon full in a Bran mash once or 2 times a day
