Chocolate Fudge

3 T. butter 3 c. sugar 1/2 t. vinegar 3 T. dark corn syrup Dash of salt 3/4 c. tap milk or evaporated 3 sq. chocolate 1 t. vanilla Nuts

Melt butter - brown slightly. Add sugar, vinegar, syrup, salt, and milk. Stir until well blended. Cover and bring slowly to boil. Add choc. and boil rapidly to soft ball. Keep covered during cooking. Cool, add vanilla and heat. Add nuts and pour into buttered pan.

Sea Foam

3 c. brown sugar 3/4 c. water 1/2 t. vinegar 2 egg whites 1/4 t. salt 1 t. vanilla 3/4 c. nuts

Heat sugar and water - stirring till dissolved. After that do not stir. Heat to boiling - cover - and boil 3 min. Remove cover and cook to hard ball stage. Fold into whites beaten with salt. Add vanilla and nuts.
