Expenditures incurred and charged in the quarterly account from Jany [January] 13th 1850 to April 13 1850. This entire account consists of Board and Room Rent for three months in San Francisco where I was obliged to remain because I could not yet [illegible?] the County at that season of that [remarkably?] [illegible?] [winter?] of 1849. If considered stationary I should at least be justly entitled to my Room or Hourse rent for the times I was obliged to remain. My bill for room rent was not made out to me separate nor paid as a separate item.
