At a Vestry held at Curls Church for Henrico parish the Sixth, day of December ano 1735 - Present - 18 James powel Cocke. James Cocke Church Wardens, William Randolph Esq. Richard Randolph, Bowler Cocke, John Redford, John Poval John Williamson, Robert Mosby and William Fuller Gent. Vestryman Pursuant to an act of assembly of this Colony directing this manner of processioning every persons Land in the following precinct, are laid-out and directed to be processioned as follows. Viz [illegible] In obedience to an Act of Assembly of this Colony, and in pursuance of an order of Henrico County Court made of a held for the said County the first day of December anno 1735: the Vestry so order that John Ellis, William Ellis and Abraham Childers with the assistance of the Neighbouring free holders do some time before the last day of March next coming goe in procession and renew the bounds of all the Land adjoining on James River between Westham and the upper bound, of the parish to extend back as far as Gordins Road that leads up to the Hocketts, and that the Said John Ellis, William Ellis and Abraham Childers (or any two of them) do take and return to this parish vestry an account of every persons Land they shall procession and of ye persons present at the Same and of what lands in their precinct they shall fail to procession and of the particular reason of Such Failure - Pursuant to an Act of Assembly of this Colony, and in Obediance to an order of Henrico County Court made of a Court held for the Said County the first day of December ano 1735. The Vestry do order that Joseph Parsons, Thomas Owin and William Brittian with the assistance of ye neighboring free holders, do sometime before the last day of March next coming go in procession and renew the Bounds of all the land from William Gordin on the back Road to the head of ye parish thence to the Main Swamp, so Down to Turners Run thence up Hongary Branch to the head of up land Brook, thence to Gordins aforesaid and that the Said Joseph Parsons Thomas Owin and William Britain (or any two of them) do take and return to this parish vestry an account of every persons land they 18

lands they shall procession, and of the persons present at the same and of [which?] lands in their precincts they shall fail to procession and of the particular reasons of such failure. 19 Pursuant to an Act of Assembly of this Colony and in obedience to an order of Henrico County Court made at a court held for the said County the first day of December Ano. 1735, the vestry order that John Watson John Williamson and William Putman with the assistance of the Neighboring free holders, do some time before the last day of March next coming go in procession and renew the bounds of all the lands between upland Brook and Chickahominy Swamp and that the said John Watson, John Williamson and William Putman (or any Two of them) do take and return to this parish vestry and Account of every persons land they shall proscession and of the persons present at the same and of what they shall procession and of the persons present at the same and of what lands in their precinct they shall fail to procession and of the particular Reasons of such failure. Pursuant to an Act of Assembly of this Colony and in obedience to an order of Henrico County Court made at a court held for the said County the first day of December Ano. 1735, the vestry order that Joel Walker Henry Stokes and John Smith with the assistance of the Neighboring free holders do Sometime before the last day of March nextcoming go in procession and renew the bounds of all the lands between Chickamomony Swamp and the Brook Road as low as Mary Cannons and Smith Mill and that the Said Joel Walker henry Stokes and John Smith (or any Two of them) do take and return to this parish vestry and Account of every persons land they Shall proscession and of the persons present at the Same and of what they shall procession and of what lands in their precinct they shall fail to procession and the particular reasons of Such failure. Pursuant to an Act of Assembly of this Colony and in obedience to an order of Henrico County Court made at a court held for the said County the first day of December Ano. 1735, the vestry order that Thomas Wood, Hutcins Curton and John Price with the assistance of the Neighboring free holders do Sometime before the last day of March nextcoming go in procession and renew the bounds of all the lands adjoining to the River between Gillys Creek and Westham to Extend back as far as Mary Cannons and William Gordins, and that the Said Thomas Wood, Hutchins Burton and John Price (or any Two of them) do take and return to this parish vestry an Account of every persons land they shall proscession and of the persons present at ye same and of what land in their precinct [they] shall fail to procession and of the particular reasons of Such failure. 19

20 Pursuant to an Act of Assembly of this Colony and in obedience to an order of Henrico County Court made at a court held for the said County the first day of December Ano. 1735, the vestry order that William Lewis Henry Hatcher and Daniel Price with the assistance of the Neighboring free holders do Sometime before the last day of March nextcoming go in procession and renew the bounds of all the lands from the Mouth of Gillys Creek to Wm. Lewis's on Chickahominy Swamp thence up the said Swamp to Smiths Mill thence by Mary Cannons to the place first mentioned, and that ye Said Wm Lewis Herny Hatcher and Daniel Price (or any Two of them) do take and return to this parish vestry an Account of every persons land they shall proscession and of the persons present at the same and of what land in their precinct they shall fail to procession and of the particular reasons of such failure.

Pursuant to an Act of Assembly of this Colony and in obedience to an order of Henrico County Court made at a court held for the said County the first day of December Ano. 1735, the vestry order that John Giles Thomas Mosley and John Allday with the assistance of the Neighboring free holders do Sometime before the last day of March nextcoming go in procession and renew the bounds of all the lands adjoining on the River between Gillys Creek and Cornealious's Extending back as far as ye Seven Pines Road as low as the Southern Branch Bridge, and that the said John Giles John Allday and Thomas Mosley or any Two of them) do take and return to this parish vestry an Account of every persons land they shall proscession and ye persons present at the Same and of what land in their precinct they shall fail to procession and of the particular reasons of Such failure.

Pursuant to an Act of Assembly of this Colony and in obedience to an order of Henrico County Court made at a court held for the said County the first day of December Ano. 1735, the vestry order that John Stuart Edw'd Cox and Benjamin Burton with ye assistance of the Neighboring free holders do Sometime before the last day of March nextcoming go in procession and renew the bounds of all land included between Cornelius's Twomile Creek and ye Main Roade and that the said John Stewart Edward Cox and Benjamin Burton or any two of them) do take and return to this parish vestry an Account of every persons Land they shall proscession and the persons present at the Same and of what land they shall fail to procession and the particular reasons of Such failure.

21 Pursuant to an Act of Assembly of this Colony and in obedience to an order of Henrico County Court made at a court held for the said County the first day of December Ano. 1735, the vestry order that John Redford jun'r Abraham Childers and Henry Sharp with thee assistance of the Neighboring free holders do Sometime before the last day of March nextcoming go in procession and renew the bounds of all the Lands between Two Mile Creek, four mile Creek and the Main Road and that the said John Redford Henry Sharp and Abraham Childers (or any two of them) do take and return to this parish vestry an Account of every persons land they shall proscession and the persons present and of what land in their precinct they shall fail to procession and the particular reasons of Such failure.

Pursuant to an Act of Assembly of this Colony and in obedience to an order of Henrico County Court made at a court held for the said County the first day of December Ano. 1735, the vestry order that Joseph Adkins Wm Whitloe and Darby Enroughty with the assistance of the Neighboring free holders do Sometime before the last day of March nextcoming go in procession and renew the bounds of all land included between Cornelius's and Four Mile Creek from ye Main Road back as far as the Seven Pines Road, and that Joseph Adkins William Whitloe and Darby Enroughty (or any two of them) do take and return to this parish vestry an account of all Lands processioned and the persons present at the Same and of what land they shall fail to procession in their precinct and the particular reasons of Such failure.

Pursuant to an Act of Assembly of this Colony and in obedience to an order of Henrico County Court made at a court held for the said County the first day of December Ano. 1735, the vestry order that Edmond Allen John Ferris and Richard Williamson with the assistance of ye Neighboring free holders do Sometime before the last day of March nextcoming go in procession and renew the bounds of all the land between William Lewis's Bow Swamp the main Swamp and the Seven Pines Road, and that the said Edmond Allin John Ferris and Richard Williamson (or any two of them) do take and return to this parish vestry an account of every persons Land they Shall procession and the persons present at the Same and of all land they shall fail to procession in their precinct and the particular reasons of Such failure.

22 Pursuant to an Act of Assembly of this Colony and in obedience to an order of Henrico County Court made at a court held for the said County the first day of December Ano. 1735, the vestry order that John Cocke Gerrard Ellison and Giles Carter with the assistance of the neighboring free holders do Sometime before the last day of March next coming go in procession and renew the bounds of all Lands from Bow Swamp on Chickahominy Swamp to the lower bounds of ye parish thence Southerly to the place where the long bridge road parts with Bottoms Bridge Road and that the said John Cocke Gerrard Ellison and Giles Carter (or any two of them) do take and return to this parish vestry an account of every persons Land by them processioned and the persons present at the Same and of all land in their precinct they shall fail to procession and the particular reasons of Such failure.

Pursuant to an Act of Assembly of this Colony and in obedience to an order of Henrico County Court made at a court held for the said County the first day of December Ano. 1735, the vestry order that Edward Goode John Hobson and Samuel Gathright with the assistance of the neighboring free holders do Sometime before the last day of March next coming go in procession and renew ye bounds of all Land between Bailys run and fourmile Creek as far as the Road that leads from Chickahominy Swamp to Varina and that the said Edward Goode John Hobson and Samuel Gathright, or any two of them do take and return to this parish vestry an account of the Land they shall procession and the persons present at the Same and of all land in their precinct they shall fail to procession and the particular reasons of Such failure.

Pursuant to an Act of Assembly of this Colony and in obedience to an order of Henrico County Court made at a court held for ye said County the first day of December Ano. 1735, the vestry order that Thomas Pleasant Steven Woodson and Charles Floyd with the assistance of the neighboring free holders do Some time before the last day of March next coming go in procession and renew the bounds of all Land between Bailys run and the lower bound of the parish to Extend back as far as Western Run and that the said Tho Pleasant Steven Woodson and Charles Floyd or any two of them do take and return to this parish vestry an account of the Land they shall procession and the persons land 22
