Sarah Hews her land not processioned no one to Shew us the Lines ./. Copy Test {Thos Owen} {Wm [William] Britain} {Jo's Parsons} 28 By virtue of an Order of the Vestry of this parish We the Subscribers have gone in procession and renewed the bounds of all those within those limets mentoned in the said order. Several of the Neighboring free holders together with owners of the said Lands being present at the doing of the same Those under mentoned excepted (viz:) The several parts of that devidend of Land formerly belonging to John Cocke in the low grounds not done by Reason none of the owners were present when the adjacent Lands were processioned the land where on Henry Irby lived not done for ye same reason. The land between James Powel Cocke and Thomas Pleasants was procession'd but in the measuring the head Line of the point Land there was an error of Thirty poles in the length of that Line The Course and distance is by the Said Cocke and Pleasants agreed on and between themselves they will rectifie the above Mistake. The Line between James Cocke and William Porter Junior not to be found and that between the said Cock and John Williams not done for the same Reason the partition Lines between Between Richard Randolph and Charles Woodson also that between John Pleasants and the Said Woodson omited by Reason y[at?] the Said Lines were verry plain and well known Together with Richard Randolph not being present when the adjacent Lands were processioned. The Line between Tho' Pleasants Land and the Land formerly Benjamin Hatcher not don for ye Same Reason The bounds of the Land that was Charles Holmes now John Pleasants not don{e} neither the upper nor lower Line the parties concerned protending to Settle them between them Selves The line parting 28

We the Subscribers have processioned all the Lines within our precinct which is betwixt Balys Run and Four Mile Creek except the Line betwixt Edward Goode and Edward Bennet and Bennet refuses to procession that line and a Line betwixt Edward Goode and Tho' Mathis which they have agreed to make and a Line betwixt Wm Frogmonton and Edward Bennet we could not find and a parcel of Land upon Whiteoak Swamp belonging to Mr Eppes, who never came to meet us tho often required and a Line between Capt. The Lands Between Two mile Creek, four mile Creek and the Main Country Road Quietly processioned except Between John Redford and Willam Parker likewise between Abraham Childers and Henry Sharp Each agree to have the Lines run by Major John Bowling Quietly./. We the Subscribers have processioneed all the land within our precinct. only the lands belonging to the Honourable William Randolph Esq. and Mr. William Randolph Gent. in Goochland their lines not being found. Coll' Richard Randolph never came to go with us and his is left undone Robert Hardwick, John North, Tho' [Fontains?] George Hardwick present with the owners thereof Thomas Ally, Tho' Jennets, John Shoemaker present Nick' Pryer, Thomas Cotral each being one with the other Jacob Robinsons, Benjamin Cannons, Charles Cannon present George Freeman. John Griffin, Thomas Alley present, part of Mr. William Randolph Gent': in Goochland being done which part lyes in the Island of Tockaho There being part of Several persons Land left undone by reason the the Gent’ Lines as first mentioned not being done. 30 May 7 & 8: 1736 copy Test: {John Ellis } {Will' Ellis} {Abra' Childers} The lines between John Cocke and William Passons both agreed in presence of Giles Carter and Tho' Jolly. The line between John Cocke and Joseph Woodson processiond and both agreed in presence of Wm Porter Sen'r John Williams James Volton. The Line between Joseph Woodson and William Porter Junior processioned and both agreed in presence of Wm. Porter Sen'r John Cocke John Wiliams James Vaulton. The line between William Porter Sen'r and Humphrey Smith processioned and both agreed in presence of William Shelles. The Line between Humphery Smith and Frances Gathright processioned and both agreed in presence of William Porter Senior. The Line between Frances Gathright and Elizabeth [East?] processioned and both agreed in presence of William Porter Sen' and John Williams. The Line between Jno Cocke and Thomas Watkins processioned and both agreed in presence of Will' Porter Senior. The Line Between Charles Floyd and Stephen Floyd perecession'd and agreed a Line between Stephen Woodson and William Lewis processioned and agreed a Line between William Porter Senior & James Vaulton agreed a Line between John Cocke and James Vaulton agreed - a Line between William Porter Senr and John Williams agreed { The Lines between William Lewis and Tho' [Thomas] Watkins { not renewed because Tho' Watkins would not appear { a Line between Stephen Floyd and Stephen Woodson { not agreed on a Line between Wm Porter Senior [ and James Cocke not renewed because James 31 { Cocke did not appear. Francis Rowins Line, not {processioned no body would appear to do it for him.

At a Vestry held at Curls Church for Henrico parish on Sunday the 18th of July 1736: present William Randolph Esq. Richard Randolph, Bowler Cocke John Bolling James Powell Cocke James Cocke John Redford John Povall Edward Curd John Williamson and William Fuller Gent Vestrymen the reverand Mr William Stith produces a Letter from the Hon' William Gooch Esq his Majestys Lieu't Governor of this Colony and another from the rever'd mr James Blair Commisary Directed to the Church Wardens and Gen't of the Vestry recommending the Said Mr. Stith the Cure of this parish, which are read and ye Said Mr Stith hath this Day performed his ministerial function both in preaching and reading to the general Satisfaction and approbation of the Vestry Thereupon they do unanimously agree to receive him as Minister of this parish Signed by Jas Powell Cooke } Church Wardens James Cocke }

Pursuant to an Order of Vestry held for Henrico parish the 6 day of December ano. 1735. We John Stewart, Edward Cox and Benjamin Burton being appointed processioners in the precinct Between Corneliousses, Two mile Creek and the main County road: In obedience to the Said order we mett on the 9th day of January and did proceed to fulfil the said order Viz:

the Bounds of Land between Edward Cox and John Cox renewed the Said Edward and John being present, done in presence of Tho' Jordan.

As also the Bounds of Land between Edward Cox and Tho' Jordan the parties being present renewed in presence of John Cox. 32 As also the Bounds of Land between John Cox and Tho' Jordan renewed the partys being present.

As also the Bounds of Land between William Perkins and Thomas Branch renewed the partys being present done in presence of Arther Giles.

As also the Bounds of Land Between Thomas Branch and William Burton renewed the parties being present, done in presence of William Pirkins and Arther Giles.

As also the bounds of Land between Edward Cox and William Perkins renew'd the partys being present, done in presence of Arthur Giles.

As also the bounds of Land between Edward Cox and Sarah Mosley renewed the parties being present done in precence of Wm Perkins and Art' Giles

As also the bounds of Land between Sarah Mosley and William Pirkins renewed the partys being present done in presence of Ar' Giles

As also the bounds of Land Between Thomas Branch and John Taylor an orphant renewed, William Perkins, his guardian and the Said Branch being present done in presence of Arth'r Giles.

As Also the bounds of land between Sarah Mosley and John Taylor the Said Mosley and William Perkins being present at renewing the Same Done in presence of Arther Giles and Thomas Perkins.

As also the bound of land Between William Pirkins and John Taylors renewed the Said Pirkins being present Done in presence of Art' Giles
