Q. Is the account of his conception and birth correct? A. That idea is as near as sensuous man can understand it.

Q. Does your condition change & vary? A. Yes, everything but the Infinite is liable to change.

Q. Is Christ not where you can always see Him? A. Christ is like the sun. He is always in the highest Heavens for our light, but we sometimes cannot see him.

Q. Something was asked about human longevity? A. Nearly a hundred years is the alloted time, if you live as you should. A man should live the first live three se[?]ens[sevens?] of his life, in gaining strength. The next four se[?]ens [sevens?], he attains to his full maturity in, and now he only lives another three se[?] [sevens?] and this should not be. The life of

man now is but 70 years, which is not his full time.

Q. Explain more fully to us please? A. What is meant is this, that the first 21 years should be spent in acquiring strength. The next 28 in reaching his full maturity, then he lives another 21 years and dies. When a man now attains maturity, he goes in another 21 years to decay, he should add another 28 years to his life, which would make almost one hunded.

Q. The number 7 seems to be a mystical or magical number? A. You are right, because all things are numbered by 7.

Q. How should we live to attain the normal age? A. Live more naturally, not eating, or drinking, or dressing [to?] make yourselves uncomfortable or unhealthy, simple food and only to satisfy hunger, not to gratify appetitie.

Q. Is animal food necessary to life? A. It is not necessary, man is right sometimes to take animal food.

Q. Have not animals the same right to live that we have? A. They have the same right, but it is not wrong to take their life for food.

Q. Have they not spirit? A. They have not anything you could call spirit.

Q. Are they not part of the Divine Spirit? A. Yes, all things are of God.

Q. What was meant by Lazarus being in Abraham's bosom. A. That was merely a figure of speech. The Jews understood by that Heaven.

Q. What about Dives? A. That also is a parable. Hell is where evil prevails over good.

Q. Was Dives in physical suffering? A. He could have no physical torment, because he had no body, but he

was in mental torment. If there was enough good, which the story intimates, as he cared for his brethren and friends who were & still in the world he had left, he would not always be in torment

Q. Why is the Romish Church so down on spiritualism? A. They only see it under its worst phase and do not get beyond a very low order of spirits, as they themselves are not spiritual.

Q. Is this time of all Catholics? A. Not each individual, but the organization is a great crime.

Q. Is the Church guilty of crime? A. Yes because it has always tried to keep men's minds in subjection. It has made use of spiritual things to obtain material things, which is rendering the natural order for that is first which is natural, after, that which is spiritual.

Q. Is the thief in Heaven, whom Christ forgave on the Cross?

A. I cannot tell.

Q. Why was he forgiven? A. He was not a very wicked man.

Q. Was the want of Faith in the other thief the reason he was sent to hell? A. You jump to the conclusion that the other one went to hell, do you not remember that Christ's prayer on the cross was, Father forgive them!

Q. Who wrote the books attributed to Moses? A. Moses helped to compile them, they had been known to others before his time.

Q. How did Moses receive the laws from God direct, when we are told, no one hath seen God at any time?
